Show to feature local high school jazz bands in concert. By KIOS
Omaha, Nebraska – KIOS concludes a once monthly three part series of highlights from the 2008 UNO Great Plains Jazz Festival. The third installment of this series will air Thursday August 7th at 8:00PM.
Recorded earlier this year, the two-day festival presented the finest talent from around the eastern Nebraska and western Iowa region from middle and high schools.
The third and last show will feature performances by the high school jazz bands of Omaha Westside, Bellevue West, Lincoln Northeast, and Papillion-LaVista.
The festival took place in February on the campus of the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
The final installment of the 2008 UNO Great Plains Jazz Festival will air Thursday August 7th at 8:00PM on KIOS.
