KIOS will once again present highlights from the UNO Great Plains Jazz Festival on Thursday March 31st at 8:00PM. The broadcast will begin our month of festivities celebrating Jazz Appreciation Month in April. The program will showcase high school jazz ensembles from around the region performing in the Strauss Performing Arts Center on the campus of the University of Nebraska at Omaha. The concert took place on Friday February 25th. Mike Jacobs hosts the program. The recording engineer is Bob Coate with editing by Mike Hansen.
