A UNO dorm heavily damaged last month by fire will be rebuilt.
A news release from UNO says Building G at Scott Village, on UNO’s South Campus, will be reconstructed. Plans are to replace all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in the building. The third floor and roof will be rebuilt.
The February 26th fire heavily damaged the building. The fire was started by a discarded cigarette.
UNO officials hope Building G will be fully ready for students this fall.
