Bellevue, NE – Visitation and funeral services are set for former Bellevue Mayor Ed Babbitt.
Babbitt died Wednesday evening. He was 70 years old. His visitation is Friday from 3 to 8 PM at the Bellevue Funeral Chapel. That's located at 2202 Hancock Street in Olde Towne Bellevue. Babbitt's funeral is 10:30 AM Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, at 104 Galvin Road North in Bellevue. The public is welcome to attend both services.
Babbitt was elected Mayor of Bellevue in 2006. He served several terms on the Bellevue City Council. Babbitt is survived by his wife, Barbara, four children, and ten grandchildren.
