Friday is the deadline for Omaha voters to register to vote somewhere other than the Election Commission office for the 2013 primary.
The primary election is April 2. Douglas County Election Commissioner Dave Phipps says Omaha voters can register at a DMV office, state agency, public library, or by a deputy registrar until Friday. That’s also the deadline for mailed voter registrations to be postmarked.
Phipps says the deadline to register at the Election Commission office is next Friday, March 22.
More information, and a list of candidates, is available at www.votedouglascounty.com.
There are seven candidates for Mayor of Omaha, and 39 candidates for the Omaha Public Schools Board.
