OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Voters have approved school bond measures in three Omaha-area districts.
The Westside Community Schools' $79.9 million measure was approved by 65 percent of the voters in the mail-in election that ended Tuesday. The Omaha World-Herald reports that the money will be used to replace three elementary schools, renovate another and provide security and other upgrades at other schools.
Gretna district voters approved $57.4 million to build another middle school and a fifth elementary school building.
The Bennington district will use money from the $38.5 million measure approved by voters to build a middle school.
