The Wells Fargo Family Festival is this Sunday

The 12th annual Wells Fargo Family Festival takes place Sunday from Noon to 5.  Ollie the Trolley will offer free rides among the six participating venues.

Suzie Steube, Regional Services Manager for Wells Fargo, says on Sunday guests can enjoy free admission and family activities at location the Omaha Children’s Museum, Joslyn Art Museum, the W. Dale Clark Library and more.

Steube at Wells Fargo downtown, kids can get their picture taken with Jack the Dog and make holiday crafts.

She says Wells Fargo has more than 200 volunteers that help to make this event a success at each venue.

Steube herself will be working at the Omaha Police Mounted Barn on Sunday.  She says guests will get to tour the barn and stables and meet both the officers and the horses.

"They get to meet and see the horses.  They could ride on a saddle.  And then we also have free stagecoach rides that are going to be happening from 1 to 4 p.m.  And then one of my favorite things there is we have a lot of craft tables where the kids and some adults like making hats.  So we’ve got stickers, feathers and glue.  And you can only imagine what happens when you get stickers, feathers and glue together.  Everybody has a great time.”

Steube says at the Durham Museum, visitors can see Omaha’s largest indoor Christmas tree, visit with Santa and enjoy live musical performances.
