Piano Jazz Rising Stars, is hosted by pianist Jon Weber.  This series highlights the jazz legends of tomorrow, and follows the winning combination of talk and music heard on Marian McPartland’s Piano Jazz for over 30 years. Each week host Jon Weber sits down with one of the leading young performers on the jazz scene today. Guests include pianist Taylor Eigsti, guitarist Julian Lage, alto saxophonist/vocalist Grace Kelly, vocalist Sachal Vasandani, and this year’s Thelonious Monk Competition winner, pianist Kris Bowers.
