StoryCorps in Omaha!

The StoryCorps Mobile Booth recently completed a stay in Omaha.  You can hear stories recorded during their visit here.  Additional stories will be aired most Wednesdays at 4:44 p.m. on KIOS.

Listening Party
A members-only Listening Party was held Thursday, May 14th at Joslyn Art Museum.  Attendees learned more about StoryCorps and heard highlights from the best StoryCorps interviews.  Afterwards, from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m., we enjoyed a coffee and dessert reception in the Storz Fountain Court while mingling with KIOS, Joslyn, and StoryCorps staff, and listening to live music.  Photos from the Listening Party can be seen above.

Archive
Participants who recorded their stories in the StoryCorps mobile booth got a recording of their interview on CD to keep.  The recordings will also be archived at the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress, and at the Omaha Public Library
