Do you think KIOS is on the right track? Do you have thoughts for how our programming could improve? Ideas for future Generation Listen events? Join us for a friendly conversation about what you'd like to see from Omaha Public Radio in 2015. Our station manager, Ken Dudzik, will be in attendance, along with other members of the KIOS staff. Appetizers, soft drinks, and beer will be provided.
KIOS Generation Listen is an initiative which connects young public radio listeners aged 21 to 40 by creating a platform for community engagement and the sharing of ideas.
In July, we are collaborating with Omaha Under the Radar to provide a discount to all Generation Listeners who want to attend this exciting event. Bring your GL pin or, if you're new to GL, sign up for the e-newsletter at the door to receive $5 off the $10 ticket price.
inCOMMON, a community development organization, will offer training in The Listening Project's "deep listening" practice. This training will allow those interested participate in inCOMMON's ongoing art project You Are Here.
There is no entry fee - just bring your KIOS Generation Listen pin. Those who are new to Generation Listen will be able to sign up for the enewsletter and receive their pin at the event.
