UNMC hosts its 2013 Bike for Sight event this Saturday. Jessica Feilmeier, from UNMC's Opthamology Department, says the purpose of the event is to raise awareness of and support for a vision restoring cataract camp in Addis, Ethiopia. 

The Douglas County Health Center is moving forward with four recommendations to address revenue and efficiencies.

The Douglas County Health Center Board of Trustees could vote Tuesday to move forward with some recommendations in a report on the Health Center.
