Presidential visit to southwest Iowa

Glenwood, Iowa – Former President Bill Clinton visited the Mills County town of Glenwood, Iowa yesterday to campaign for New York Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton. President Clinton talked health care, education, and why he feels the former First Lady is the best candidate for the job. Omaha Public Radio's Katie Knapp covered the former President's appearance and has this report.

KIOS-KVNO Agreement to Benefit Listeners

Omaha, NE – KIOS, 91.5fm, Omaha's NPR Station, is pleased to announce a new partnership with KVNO, Classical 90.7 FM that will strengthen public radio service to the metropolitan Omaha community by streamlining both station's broadcasting schedules. Effective September 4, 2006, KIOS serves as the region's source for NPR news and jazz, while KVNO is the official station for classical music in the Omaha-Council Bluffs region.

Tractor Helps Pull Council Bluffs Man Through Cancer

Omaha, NE – When Bob Husz, of Council Bluffs underwent his first month of chemotherapy for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2004 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, he found himself emotionally down. At his wife Jane's suggestion, he sought a task that would allow him to keep a positive goal in mind during his treatment.
