Omaha, Nebraska – Creating Orchestral Jazz at the highest level of excellence, Composer and Bandleader Maria Schneider is bringing her Orchestra to Lincoln, Nebraska this weekend.

The Maria Schneider Orchestra performs Saturday night, February 3, at the Lied Center in Lincoln. Showtime is 7:30pm.

Hosts Chris Cooke and Mike Jacobs will feature a lively mix of classic and new Christmas Jazz recordings on Tuesday and Wednesay's Jazz in the Afternoon broadcasts. Tuesday's broadcast will feature music from Jorge Nila and the Jazz Ninjas, Diana Krall, Eric Reed, and others.
