Trumpeter to appear with orchestra in final season performance

Omaha, Nebraska – The Nebraska Jazz Orchestra (NJO) presents Trumpet Titan, the fifth and final concert of their season, this month. The concert will be held Friday, May 25 in Lincoln. Trumpeter Terell Stafford will join the NJO for this special night of music. The NJO is also proud to present the 2007 Young Jazz Artist winner, Gabriela Praetzel, on saxophone.
Closing installment of three part concert series features Phil Woods

Omaha, Nebraska – The final installment of a three part concert series featuring the United States Air Force's premier jazz ensemble will air Friday on KIOS.
The Jazz Heritage Concert Series has showcased the United States Air Force Airmen of Note with special guests. The Airmen of Note is comprised of eighteen musicians who tour throughout the United States twice a year, one of the few big bands these days to do so.
Omaha, Nebraska – The Grand Olde Players Theatre will present their final jazz concert of the season this weekend with the Marty Marquez Celebrate Swing Quintet.
Marquez and his band will perform at 6pm Sunday night at the Theatre. There will be an open jam session in the theatre lobby at 5pm, allowing the students of music and the pros the opportunity to jam together and exchange musical ideas.
Omaha, Nebrasks – Legendary Cuban Trumpeter Arturo Sandoval is scheduled to perform this weekend in Omaha.
Equally at home onstage with the world's greatest symphony orchestras as well as today's best jazz and pop musicians, Sandoval will perform one night only at the Kiewit Concert Hall at the Holland Performing Arts Center in downtown Omaha.
